Privacy policy
Last updated: 27 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data OVOAI LTD handles when you visit ovoai.com or email us, and what your rights are. We have kept it short because this website collects very little.
1. Who we are
The controller of your personal data is:
OVOAI LTDCompany number 16484202, registered in England and Wales
Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom
Registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ZC142781
Email: info@ovoai.com
We have not appointed a statutory Data Protection Officer. For any privacy question, email info@ovoai.com.
2. What this website does not do
- It sets no cookies and uses no similar technologies (such as local storage or tracking pixels).
- It runs no analytics and no advertising or tracking tools.
- It loads no third-party scripts. Our fonts are stored on our own site, so your browser does not contact a font provider.
- It has no forms. The contact link simply opens your own email program.
Because we do not set cookies or read anything from your device, we do not show a cookie banner.
3. What personal data we handle, why, and for how long
- What
- Technical data when you visit the site: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, your browser type and similar request details
- Why
- To deliver the web pages to you and to keep the site secure and working (for example, to block attacks)
- Lawful basis
- Our legitimate interests in running a secure website (UK GDPR / EU GDPR Article 6(1)(f))
- How long
- Held by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, only for as long as it needs for delivery, security and troubleshooting. We do not keep our own copies of these logs.
- What
- Emails you send us at info@ovoai.com: your name, email address, and anything you choose to include
- Why
- To read and reply to your message, and, if you ask, to discuss working with us
- Lawful basis
- Our legitimate interests in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)); or, where you ask about our services, taking steps at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b))
- How long
- Up to 24 months after our last exchange with you. If the conversation leads to a contract, we keep what the law requires us to keep (usually 6 years after the end of the financial year it relates to, for accounting and tax records).
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you. Please do not send us sensitive personal data (such as health information) by email.
4. Who processes your data for us
We use two service providers. Each acts on our instructions as our processor, under a data processing agreement:
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website (Cloudflare Pages) and delivers it through its global network. It processes the technical data described above.
- Google (Google Workspace) provides our email service for info@ovoai.com.
We may also share data if the law requires it (for example, a lawful request from a court or regulator), or with our professional advisers under a duty of confidentiality.
5. International transfers
Cloudflare and Google operate worldwide, so your data may be processed outside the UK and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by one of the following:
- the provider's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension (the "UK-US data bridge"); or
- standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
You can ask us for more information about these safeguards by emailing info@ovoai.com.
6. Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict how we use your data;
- object to our use of your data where we rely on legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format (portability), where this applies.
To use any of these rights, email info@ovoai.com. We will reply within one month. We may need to confirm your identity first. There is normally no charge.
Please note that we do not hold visitor logs ourselves and cannot link a website visit to a named person, so in most cases the only data we can identify you by is your email correspondence with us.
7. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first at info@ovoai.com so we can try to put it right.
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office:
- Website: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint
- Phone: 0303 123 1113
- Post: Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF
If you live in the European Economic Area, you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
8. Security
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to our email account is restricted and protected with multi-factor authentication.
9. Children
This website is for businesses and is not aimed at children.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. When we launch our full website, this policy will be replaced with a more detailed one.
